Eat, Pray, I'm in LOVE!

This weekend was rather relaxing for me since the past few weekends have been anything but. Friday night I decided to spend it with my mom and sis and we finally caught Julia Robert's new movie Eat, Pray Love.

First off, can I just tell you I want to go to Italy. Not for the beautiful sites and culture, but for the FOOD! If you know me personally, you know I love to throw down when it comes to food!

When you see Roberts' character and her friends chow down on some amazing Italian grub I made the decision that I need to go there ASAP!

Bucket list anyone?

Anyhow, with my love of food aside I'd say this was a really great movie!

I haven't read the book so I really can't offer a comparison all I have to say is that you need to see it. It's such a heartwarming film on life and love.

The movie is about one woman's journey to find herself. Roberts' character, Elizabeth Gilbert (who's the book's author *in case you didn't know), takes a year off from her life in NYC after the failure of her marriage and then, later her relationship with a young actor played by James Franco *LOVE HIM!

This movie shows Liz's road to self-discovery after being newly divorced. She takes a giant leap out of her comfortable life to figure out what she really wants.

So, Liz goes to EAT in Italy, PRAY in India and then just so happens to fall in LOVE in Bali, not only with a man but with HERSELF.

I believe we've all been where Liz has been. Whether we're trying to figure out our career, going through a breakup or divorce or just basically at a crossroads in life. This movie touches on all kinds of topics and is one of those old-fashioned feel-good films that has been missing from theaters for a while.

        You all need to go see it!

Now, who's going to come with me to Italy? Be sure to bring your sweatpants!

Drake & Nicki Minaj Married?

The news came via Twitter this weekend when the Young Money hip-hop princess and self-described Barbie tweeted:

"U scurred? @drakkardnoir u ready to make the announcement or wha?"

Then Mr. Degrassi replied:

@nickiminaj Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use.

"Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine. :)"


Then Minaj sealed the deal saying "Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot."
I believe this is a publicity stunt considering Drake's new single Miss Me is pretty hot on the radio right now and he raps about wanting to marry Nicki Minaj and hopes that one day they do it "just to say we f*$king did it".

Bollywood Pays Tribute to the King of Pop

Famed Bollywood choreographer, Ganesh Hegde, is releasing a music video paying tribute to Michael Jackson.

Hegde wanted to pay homage to Jackson because the dancer had the priviledge of performing in 1996 for the opening act of Jackson's HIStory tour.

The music video features Bollywood superstars; Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra with Ganesh himself.

I can't wait to see this video! Supposedly it's out but I can't find it anywhere online. As soon as I find it, I'll post it!

It's crazy to think that he was only 50 years old when he passed.

Who would have imagined that 52 years ago, that little newborn baby would have changed the face of music and the entertainment game in a matter of years.

It's so sad that he's no longer with us today. I can only imagine who he could have collaborated with for future tracks. I would have loved to hear him collaborate with Lady Gaga. Even though Gaga has said the two did a song together, it would only be special if Jackson were alive today.

Reports says LVPD booked Hilton into jail..then released her for *allegedly* having cocaine in her purse on Friday.

According to CNN " a police official told CNN she was riding in a black Cadillac Escalade near the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel when police smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and pulled it over. Both Hilton and the driver were arrested."

The concert was amazing, and it was very good to see how far Lady Gaga has come from just a year and a half ago when I saw her last time.

The costumes, the stage and choreography was so unique and entertaining. She's by far fantastic at a larger venue!

Reports say the little stump was taken into custody on Sunday for outstanding warrants from two other Garden State communities. The warrants involve unpaid parking tickets.

He was released only a short time after.

A Jersey Shore Halloween!

The cast of the Jersey Shore is cashing in again and this time it's for Halloween costumes! Costume Craze is debuting their Guido-esqe costumes!

Great! Now everyone's going to be using my idea!

The character selection is limited to Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation.

To be honest I think these costumes are pretty lame. The wigs are alright, but you can purchase a Snooki-wannabe get-up at Forever 21 or Wet Seal. No need to pay the overprices online costume fee!

My advice? Don't waste your money on these costumes. Make your own Jersey Shore costumes and put it together yourself!

For the launch of her new perfume Tease, Miss Hilton channeled Marilyn Monroe. Reports say the Heiress dedicated her 10th perfume to the sex-symbol.

Please, Paris is JUST trying to stay relevant since she's been M.I.A. for a while. Actually, she hasn't even been M.I.A., it's just that noone cares about her anymore. Guess she's getting a little jealous of all the Kardashian Khaos.

Fantasia Hospitalized from Overdose

Reports have been released that former American Idol contestant and reality star, Fantasia Barrino, has been hospitalized in North Carolina lastnight due to a medication overdose says WCNC.

"This comes right on the heels of news that the singer was recently named in a lawsuit by Paula Cook, claiming Barrino wrecked her marriage. Among other things, Cook alleges Barrino made a sex tape with her husband."

The A.P. reports customers will be able to customize their own pop-tart and even have pop-tarts sushi (eww), and even customize their own box of pop-tarts with their favorite flavors!

I'm a Jersey Shore Wannabe

So one of my bestfriends had her housewarming party the other night and the theme was Jersey Shore!  Being that I'm somewhat obsessed with themed parties I went all out and that meant orange skin, a bedazzled wannabe Ed Hardy hat (courtesy of Ross), faux Dior necklace and Chanel earrings, Douchebag stonewashed jeans and a lowcut tank revealing my lacking J-Woww goods, and the tackiest hoodie I owned.

I was so psyched to get all dressed up (because there was a costume contest after all) only to find out I was the ONLY one who went all out. I think only the party hosts and I were the only ones who took the theme seriously. So I legitimately looked like a Guidette.

Her arrival was announced today at meeting with the  Television Critics Association. Rumor has it, she joined the cast when they began production for the third season.

Us Weekly reports that Cortese is a BFF of Snooki's and describes herself and "class in a glass and party in a body."

Radar Online (The Mel-Gibson-Hot-Mess-News-Source) reports that Super Douche Spencer Pratt sent Snooki a surprise and that was her ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella.

Masella tells Radar that when he found out Snooks was in jail he called Spencer to help bail her out...and he did just that!

Weird. Well, maybe Spencer isn't so bad. LOL.

 Seems like the two became friends during the filiming of Spencer’s upcoming comedy  TOWER 69: BEACH PATROL featuring 3 D BOOBS.

Can't wait to see that movie.

This past weekend was THE weekend to get married. Not only did Chelsea Clinton tie the knot, but so did T.I. and Tiny and Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz but those two have disgusted me.

I'm sure LiLo learned her lesson in these past 14 days. Though now she's required to do a 3 month rehab stint. Reports say Lohan cannot be released early and has to spend the entire time in treatment at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Ah well, you can't win 'em all Miss Lohan! But rehab these days doesn't seem so bad. I'm sure Dr. Drew is laughing somewhere right now at this hot mess!
