Celine Dion's Husband Renee Angelil Dies of Cancer

After his battle with cancer, 73 year old Renee Angelil has died. He was the husband and former manager of singer, Celine Dion.
Angelil mentored and managed Dion since she was a teenager, died at his home in Las Vegas on Thursday.

Angelil resigned as his wife's manager in June 2014 because of his battle with cancer. That August, Dion put her career on hold while she helped him fight the disease.

The Clark County Coroner's Office said Angelil died from throat cancer.

"We have determined Mr. Angelil's death was due to natural causes. No further investigation into his death is expected," the coroner said in a statement.

Angelil leaves behind not only his wife but his children with her; René-Charles, 14, and 5-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy and his adult children from a previous relationship, Anne-Marie, Jean-Pierre and Patrick.
